MASERU- Having been established as a platform for local producers to showcase their work, The Nala Project continues to grow in their mission.
This past weekend was the sixth hosting of the project at Sefikeng Sa Moshoeshoe and over the past couple of months, people have attended in numbers to enjoy the homey ambience, the comfort food, live performances, interactions and also buying some locally produced products.
Speaking with Moleboheng Rampou, Public Eye Online learnt that in the project's challenges there are also many positive aspects that reflect their grow.
"There is a lot of progress, because there are more people showcasing their work with us and there are more coming to support the course, which to us is a reflection of our growth. We've made supportive partners that assist us with various aspects of the initiative and things are looking very promising,"
"Our major challenges are financial and we wish the Government as well as the private sector would start lending a hand towards this Basotho driven venture. Establishments like BEDCO and LTDC are those we wish could assist with assets such as tents, tables and also paying for the space we use every month, because we do that ourselves even though this is a national beneficiary project." Rampou boldly stated.
