Maseru - Four more of the detained members of Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) have been released. This leaves in custody only seven soldiers.
Those released now number 16.
Director Public Affairs Office and Protocol (PAO) Colonel Ntlele Ntoi indicated those released on Wednesday as being Major Makhetha, Sergeant Lekhabunyane, Corporal Manaka and Lance Corporal Makhooane.
The colonel indicated that the 'released mutineers' remain in open arrest allowing them to go about their normal daily business, although their movements are still restricted.
The soldiers who were detained since the middle of 2015, were released for signs of good behaviour they displayed during detention, the colonel indicated.
He said the conditions of the open arrest include acting according to all the regulations of LDF, as well as reporting themselves to the Military Police as stipulated.
