MASERU- Democratic Congress (DC) leader and Prime Minister Dr Pakalitha Mosisili has said today is the day he would meet the King for feedback on his advise for the dissolution of parliament.
Mosisili told a DC rally in the Machache constituency that he had hurried to his Majesty to advice for the dissolution of the parliament as promised saying, "I did not even wait for an hour to pass after the motion passed. I went to the King and advised him to dissolve the parliament. I had with me a Gazette that he had signed and he said I should come with another Gazette on Monday (today) at 11:00am for his final response."
Mosisili also boasted about the rare privilege he has of advising the King as enshrined in the constitution.
The DC leader also castigated the All Basotho Convention, Basotho National Party and Alliance of Democrats leaders saying they fooled themselves on the 18-month premiership dream saying, "it is a wild goose chase".
Mosisili maintained that the snap poll he had asked for from the King would have funds to go ahead as was the case in 2015.
