Maseru - The Lesotho National Broadcasting Service (LNBS) is still hopeful of success in migrating Lesotho from analogue to digital despite some challenges.

Chief Engineer with broadcasting service Motlatsi Monyane said about 90 percent of infrastructure required for the digital migration has been secured with 20 transmitters already erected countrywide.

He further said 3000 set top boxes have already been bought and are ready for distributed through the Postal Services once the remaining work completes.

Monyane said there is a challenge with content for many channels, which he said, would not run even if the broadcasting service finishes it work because of lack of programmes.
