Maseru - Lesotho's senior soccer side Likuena arrived safely in Mozambique to face counterparts OS Mamba to be played at the country's third largest city of Mozambique, Beira on today.
Team manager Rantsubise Matete said the game between the Portuguese speaking nation will serve as a warm up match ahead of Likuena's African Nations Championships qualifiers.
Mozambique would give them the kind of training they need as Os Mambas rank higher in both World and continental rankings, Matete said.
The team travelled by road from Lesotho to the Mozambique capital Maputo with arrangement made for an airplane to fly the team to Beira.
Likuena is currently ranked in 143 in the World FIFA rankings about 72 places lower than Mozambique's Os Mambas while in the Confederation of African Football (CAF), they are placed in 43 and 33 respectively.
