Bantu hunt for head coach

MASERU – Bantu Football Club have opened applications for the head coach’s post this after the resignation of former head coach, James Madidilane, last week.

The applications are open until August 31, 2019.

Bantu communications officer, Bokang Phasumane, said the team remains without a head coach and applications are open for everyone both in and outside the country.

“The applications are open until 31st August, and we looking for someone who would meet the standards of being our head coach. It doesn’t really matter whether the person is a foreigner or local, as long as he or she meets the set standards,” Phasumane told Public Eye Online this morning.

However, looking back at the former head coach Madidilane’s performance during his stay at Bantu, up to a total of 98 matches played, the team had; 65 wins, 20 draws, and 13 losses.

Bantu are two-time league champions, one-time top four champions, one-time league runners-up, one-time Top Four runners-up, and one-time Top Eight runners-up.

The statistics include league matches, cup matches, and Confederation of African Football (CAF) championships.
