Chinese donate food parcels

RETHABILE MOHONO

MASERU – Foreign Affairs and International Relations Deputy Minister Halebonoe Setsabi accepted the last batch of the food donation, today at the FMU main Warehouse in Maseru.

The donation of 3,157 metric tones of rice is donated to the government of the Kingdom of Lesotho by the government of the People’s Republic of China.

The food donation was handed over by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Lesotho, His Excellency Mr Lei Kezhong, in an event graced with the presence of the Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Temeki Tsolo.

This occasion, officiated by the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mamonyane Bohloko, was attended by the Principal Secretary Cabinet Lefu Manyokole, the Chief of Protocol Ambassador Masuhla Humphrey Leteka and senior officials from both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cabinet.
