MASERU – High Court judge, Justice ’Maseshophe Hlajoane died on Saturday at Medic Clinic in Bloemfontein after a brief illness.
Hlajoane’s daughter Nts’ebo Hlajoane-Nazo confirmed her mother’s passing on though she declined to give details of her illness.
Justice Hlajoane also served as an acting judge of the Court of Appeal and was on March 20, 2018 appointed the Acting President of the court although her appointment was challenged.
The late judge was born on April 04, 1951 and is survived by two sons, a daughter and four grandchildren.
A memorial service for the deceased jurist will be held on Friday at the Palace of Justice. – LeNA
