MASERU - Prime Minister Thomas Thabane arrived in Lesotho earlier today from an official trip that covered both Geneva, Switzerland and India. The PM’s press secretary Thabo Thakalekoa told a press briefing at the Moshoeshoe I International Airport today that in Switzerland, Thabane participated in the World Investment Forum, which discussed among others the world economic growth.
Thakalekoala said the forum which attracted several heads of state and scores of investors from different parts of the world was a fruitful exercise that has opened global business opportunities to Lesotho. Commenting on the trip to India, Thakalekoala said the aim was to strength bilateral relations between that country and Lesotho. Thabane and his entourage that included the First Lady ’Maesiah left Lesotho on October 21.
