Maseru -The body of one of the eight passengers who were washed away in taxi by the Linakeng River earlier this year has finally been found. The decomposed body, according to Thaba-Tseka police was found in the Senqu River about two weeks ago.
It is currently in the Thaba-Tseka Government Mortuary where it is waiting to be identified by relatives. Sixteen passengers were travelling in a mini bus from Thaba-Tseka to Linakaneng when their vehicle was washed away by the flooding river. Nine people including the driver of the taxi survived the accident. Three bodies were found a few days later downstream while five others are still missing.
