MASERU – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations has today warned the public to be careful when visiting South Africa due to xenophobia attacks which have resulted in extensive destruction of property in areas such as Pretoria, Johannesburg, KwaZulu-Natal, North West and Mpumalanga.

However, Lesotho’s embassy in South Africa confirmed that there are no Basotho reported to have been affected by the violence so far.

The public is also advised to listen to radio stations for updates on the matter.
