DPM Mokhothu off to Malawi

NTEBOHELENG SEKHUKHUNI
MASERU – The Deputy Prime Minister, Honourable Mathibeli Mokhothu, along with the Government Secretary, Lerotholi Pheko, will leave for Lilongwe, Malawi today to participate at the 41st SADC Summit.
This ordinary summit of Heads of States is scheduled for August 17 NA 18 and will see the Organ Troika receiving a report on political and security developments in Southern Africa.
Lesotho is expected to present a report on the political and security situation in the country, particularly, the on-going reforms.
The theme for this year’s summit is “Bolstering Productive Capacities in the face of Covid-19 pandemic for inclusive, sustainable, economic and industrial transformation”.
