Maseru – Lesotho Lowlands Water Development Project Phase II (LLWP II) today held a one-day workshop for principal chiefs and members of parliament on compensation policy.
The workshop was meant to discuss strategies that will be implemented to supply water to all the regions of Lesotho. The purpose of LLWP II is to increase access and availability of bulk potable water, and improve WASCO operational performance.
The water project is financed by the government of Lesotho, the World Bank and the European Investment Bank. It is expected to be complete by 2024.
