Man (29) rapes 4-year-old

MASERU – Twenty-nine-year-old Mots’ehi Moiketsi appeared before the magistrate court on February 2, 2021, accused of raping a four-year-old girl. The suspect is in police custody waiting to re-appear before court on February 16.
Senior Superintendent Mareabetsoe Mofoka said on January 26 the suspect found the victim playing with her age mates in a play ground when the suspect ordered the victim’s peers to drive his cattle home for him. Community members allegedly caught Moiketsi raping the minor and handed him over to the police after seriously assaulting him. The suspect has since been admitted to St Joseph’s Hospital.
