Three armed robbery suspects in court

MASERU – Three men appeared in court accused of an armed robbery which occurred near Mofumahali oa Tlholo Roman Catholic Church on March 15, 2021.

Lekanyane Lefu, 32, who lives at Tsoili-Tsoili, Bereng appeared before the magistrate court on March 19, 2021. The other two accomplices; Hopolang Mosoang, 29, who lives at Lithabaneng Maseru and Simone Moloi, 32, who lives at Mohlaka-Letuka, Nazareth; appeared before the magistrate court on March 29, 2021.

Police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli said a 53-year-old of Chinese origin who owns New World lost M90,000 to the suspects who were wielding dangerous weapons.

This three suspects are in police custody waiting to appear before the magistrate on April 9, 2021.
