Adv Ramaili is LNDC new boss

MASERU – Advocate Molise Ramaili has been appointed as the interim Chief Executive Officer of the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) effective from May 24. The new CEO according to the corporation’s Public Relations Manager, Tiisetso Moremoholo, pledged to hit the ground running with his clear vision to ensure diversification of the Industry.
She said he plans to acquaint himself with LNDC’s strategy, processes, governance structures and staff in process, and also explore out of the box approaches. Moremoholo showed that in his own remarks, Advocate Ramaili said the LNDC has a big role to play in empowering Basotho towards converting good ideas into bankable projects.
He believes that the experience he brings from the banking sector will enhance the LNDC’s development finance role of offering financing solutions to support private sector led industrial development and economics diversification.
“Teamwork makes the dream work,” he said, adding that he seeks to inspire a winning team at the LNDC. Advocate Ramaili brings a wealth of corporate experience from diverse sectors, including the financial sector. He served as CEO of the Lesotho Post Bank and Letsego Financial Services. He was Head of Legal Compliance and Company Secretary at the First National Bank (FNB) Lesotho following his promotion from the position of Legal and Compliance Manager.
He also served as the Senior Specialist, Legal Contracts at the Vodacom Lesotho. His first job was as Legal Officer at the Water and Sewage Company (WASA).
Advocate Ramaili is an LLB graduate from the National University of Lesotho (NUL) and an IB graduate from the Machabeng College. He succeeds Mohato Seleke who joined the Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) in January as the company’s new Managing Director.
