Mabeleme Mokete
Maseru – There were mixed reactions among Basotho who were queuing to collect or apply for their passports today at the Home Affairs ministry offices.
Despite the evidently long queues, those collecting passports said they were satisfied with the service since they did not spend too much time waiting to be served.
On the other hand, Basotho who were there to apply for the passports said the services are very poor since they had been there since early morning but they had not received any services by late afternoon. To make matters worse, they also complained that there weren’t any home affairs employees coming out to tell them whether they will be receiving any services today or they should leave and come back tomorrow.
