Majoro reshuffles Principal Secretaries

MASERU – Prime Minister Moeketsi Majoro has redeployed four Principal Secretaries in his administration, sending them on new portfolios.

A statement released by the Office of the Prime Minister on Wednesday indicates that Lefu Manyokole has been moved from his previous posting as chief accounting officer in the Ministry of Forestry to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftainship Affairs; Kamoo Matlama, who was Principal Secretary Cabinet-Administration now replaces Manyokole at Forestry.

Nchakha Makara who was deployed at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has been moved to the Ministry of Public Service, to replace Advocate ‘Mole Kumalo who is the new chief accounting officer at the Ministry of Agriculture.

The reshuffle, which takes effect immediately is done in accordance with Section 139 of the Constitution of Lesotho.
