MASERU – Inundated Transformation Resource Centre (TRC) director, Tsikoane Peshoane, was yesterday called in for questioning by the police in relation to a sexual assault charge levelled against him.
Peshoane is also under investigation for a myriad of alleged acts of misconduct; the centre’s board has, however, found him not guilty of the charges laid by the TRC staff members.
The TRC staffers earlier this month petitioned the board seeking probe into Peshoane’s management style, listing various issues that they said he mishandled and were bordering on corruption. They also sought redress to several of their employment infringements.
The entire staff was suspended by the board, but were this week recalled to resume duty.
Following yesterday’s meeting with the police, Peshoane was released with the police indicating they will summon him again to help with investigations into the matter.
