MASERU – Prime Minister Ntsokoane Matekane has committed to pleasant working relationship with the local media – promising to immediately address the fraternity’s lingering professional challenges and ensure that the media is supported to arrive at required efficiency.

Matekane said the engagement meeting with the media was primarily planned to facilitate an exchange of expectations between the sector and government – so that the new administration is informed of all pertinent sectoral issues as they take office.

He promised to continue to communicate and work with the industry to work towards the country’s development.

“We cannot deny that our country is facing a lot of problems, with economic recession in the main, but together we  can achieve a better Lesotho for all of us,” he said
