27 athletes make Team Lesotho

MASERU – Up to 27 athletes from six different sport codes represent Lesotho at the 12th African Games 2019 in Morocco which started yesterday and will run until August 31.
The team, announced at a send-off ceremony last week, comprises athletics, boxing, cycling, Taekwondo, weightlifting and tennis.
Sports minister, Dr Mahali Phamotse, wished Team Lesotho all the success.
The Lesotho National Olympic Committee has said most of the athletes in the team have been preparing through the Lesotho National Olympic Committee High-Performance Programme-supported activities to ensure they are fit for the Games.
