Man burns wife’s private parts

LERIBE – A 44-year-old man from Popopo was arrested on January 22 for allegedly burning his wife’s private parts with plastic.
Police took the badly injured woman to hospital.
The man appeared before the magistrate court on January 27, 2020.
“During the arrest, the police found out the man had taken his wife’s phone to make sure she was not going to report the incident.”
The man said he did this because he loves his wife a lot and often when the lady goes somewhere, she never returns on time.
“The other problem is that the man addicted to drugs.”
Mopeli said this is not the first time the man has been abusive as he lashed his first wife with a shambok to near-death in 2014.
