Fuel prices up tomorrow

MASERU– Petroleum Fund has announced fuel price adjustments prices effective from tomorrow. Petroleum Fund Executive Secretary Thato Mohasoa in a statement noted that the pump price of petrol93 will be increased by one M1.65 per litre, petrol95 will be increased by M1.80, pump price of diesel50 will be increased by M1.30 while the wholesale price of illuminating paraffin will be increased by M1.55 per litre.
This comes after Puma Energy Lesotho and Petroleum Fund announced an anticipated fuel shortage that the country is set to experience during this month. The shortage is attributed to an unexpected increase in demand at a time when most fineries and oil producing companies are still on lockdown due to COVID-19.
