Lesotho now testing everyone entering through the borders

Maseru – In order to stop the spread of Covid-19 in Lesotho, the government through Nacosec is testing everyone entering the country’s borders, regardless whether they have symptoms or not.

Public Eye this afternoon was at the Maseru Bridge border post and spoke to several people who had been tested and had receipts to show they had been tested.

However, many of them complained that they had spent a lot of time in a queue to be tested yet they did not have any symptoms.

Qhoboi Pheko from Thaba Bosiu said: “I have tested and so did everyone coming in but my problem is I do not have any symptoms so this exercise wasted my time.”

’Mateboho Mpatuoa corroborated what Pheko’s view.
