Majoro announces new Covid-19 measures

Maseru-Prime Minister Moeketsi Majoro today announced Lesotho is going back to the purple stage.
He said up to 300 people among those that came from South Africa to Lesotho for the festive season tested positive to Covid-19 .
He added that the virus is spreading rapidly among Basotho now and that they are spreading it among themselves, therefore all members of the public are advised to continue to religiously adhere to all regulations put in place to alleviate the spread of the virus.
As a result, Majoro said the country will go back to purple stage in order to mitigate the spread of the virus.
The Purple stage will also be accompanied by new regulations and or changes that will be effective from Sunday midnight.
