Covid-19 vaccine expected in Lesotho in April

Maseru- At least 400 000 Basotho will be vaccinated in April 2021 as a measure to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Minister of Health, Motlatsi Maqelepo said when the vaccine finally arrives, high risk individuals like frontline workers in the health facilities will be the first to receive vaccination.

He added the intention is for the vaccine to later reach the rest of the citizens.

Maqelepo urged the media to address myths and rumours associated with COVID-19 and to continue encouraging the public to observe life-saving protocols.
