Maseru – Former Deputy Commander of the Lesotho Defense Force (LDF) has died after a long illness.

Retired Major General Rachobokoane Anthony Thibeli passed away on February 7, 2021 after a long illness. Lesotho Defense Force (LDF) has released a press statement today informing all LDF personnel and the nation about the news of his passing.

Thibeli died in Bloemfontein, South Africa. LDF said the former deputy commander of the Lesotho Defence Force will forever be remembered as a dependable general who was always eager to render support to the commander at all times.
