Car wash owner in court for selling alcohol

MASERU – Koalabata-based Black Car Wash owner, 39-year-old Ramokorotlela Tali, appeared before the magistrate court on March 23 accused of selling alcohol illegally.
He was found guilty and sentenced to 12 months in prison or pay M5 000 fine.
Police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli said Tali’s case was suspended for a year and he was ordered not to repeat the same offense.
All the alcohol found, about six cases of beer, was confiscated.
