We fired the rogue teller: PostBank

Maseru – Lesotho Post Bank today issued a press statement in response to an article published by Public Eye newspaper titled “PENSIONER ACCUSES POST BANK OF FRAUD”.

The Lesotho Post Bank management said the bank investigated the complaint and found out that the allegations were true. 

The bank said an amount of M4000.00 was indeed withdrawn from the customer’s account by one of their staff members and the teller in question was taken for disciplinary hearing and was later dismissed from work and the customer’s money was refunded.
