Maseru Private Academy closes over Covid-19 spread

Maseru – Maseru Private Academy yesterday closed over Covid-19 fears as the pandemic transmission accelerates in the country. The school informed parents yesterday about the closure of the school due to a recent spike in Covid-19 cases at the school.
The school said procedures will be taken to prevent the spread of covid 19. The school will be closed on August 5 and 6, 2021 to allow for deep sanitizing twice a day including Saturday and Sunday.
Staff members will be sent for Covid-19 testing to be paid for by the school after which only staff members who have tested negative will be allowed to return to school.
