Sadc youth forum takes off

Maseru- The Third Annual SADC Youth Forum launched virtually today from host country Malawi.  The forum seeks to deliberate deeply on issues affecting young people within Southern African and to contribute to more sustainable and effective participation of youth in the region, based on principles of youth primacy and equity. 

The four-day event will be conducted under the theme: Blue and Green Economy for Sustainable Development.  

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Regional Co- Chair Ms. Maggie Mwape highlighted that during the event possible solutions regarding issues affecting youth shall be extended and will be in line with development strategies formulated  by SADC and the African Union.
