Makafane murderer tests positive for Covid-19, quarantined

MASERU – The 22-year-old Qenehelo Ledwaba of Ha Leqele, who faces a charge of the murder of National University of Lesotho lecturer Teboli David Makafane, has tested positive for Covid-19 in detention and is in 14-days quarantine.
Public Eye can report that Ledwaba failed to appear before the Maseru Magistrate Court for remand today, and he will appear again on February 14.
Ledwaba’s family was present in court, and told this publication that they were made to understand that the case would be proceeding today and were not aware of the latest developments regarding the health of the accused.
