Health sector receives electronic equipment

Maseru- The Africa Centre for Disease Control (CDC) has donated electronic equipment to the Ministry of Health. The equipment, which includes 111 tablets, 21 laptops, 2 cameras and 21 Wi-Fi rooters was presented at the Ministry of Health Headquarters today.

Speaking at the event the Ministry of Health’s Director General, Dr Nyane Letsie, said the equipment will assist health facilities to operate better and faster in collection of data and distribution of information.

Executive Director at Christian Association of Lesotho, Makatleho Mohasi, said CHAL appreciates of the trust it has been shown to handle funds that come from CDC.

The Principal Secretary of Ministry Health Khothatso Ts’oana also thanked Africa CDC on behalf of the government of Lesotho adding that the equipment will be helpful to Lesotho’s health facilities.
