MASERU – The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Southern Africa’s mission director, Andrew Karas, made his first visit to Lesotho to put weight on the USAID’s commitment on the development of their partnership with Lesotho.
United States of America Ambassador to Lesotho, Maria E Brewer, said this in a statement released in Maseru on Friday; further indicating that Karas also met with government officials to observe progress of their programme in the country.
USAID, through the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) has been actively working with the Lesotho’s Ministry of Health through several programmes to curb and promote an AIDS-free generation and providing Covid-19 resources and supplies for Lesotho.
