Sekhiba encouraged future entrepreneurs to start where they are, noting, “One can start from zero to hero. It only requires discipline to be successful.”
She added that such dedication can lead to unexpected recognition, saying, “You can become ambassadors of your own country without planning for it, just like Dangote.”
The mentorship party is the first in a series of events. Sekhiba announced a larger follow-up event scheduled for September 18 at the ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre, followed by a mentorship excursion to Thaba-Bosiu Cultural Village on September 20.

“The credo for this year is ‘tourism is a sustainable transformation’,” Lebotsa said, also cautioning that “all businesses should be legal” to contribute effectively to the economy.
