Ex-offender accuses police of harassment

LERIBE – An ex offender who claims he is rehabilitated has accused police of harassment after he was fingered in a M20 000 robbery.
Ts’epo Nts’oereng, 29, of Ha ’Matau, St Monica’s complains that every time a crime is committed in his neighbourbood police are always quick to accuse him because of his blemished past.
“I admit I was a trouble-maker in the past, but those days are over, I am now a changed man and people should learn to appreciate that,” Nts’oereng told Public Eye Online.
The former law-breaker was last week interrogated by police for an alleged M20 000 robbery at a primary school in St Monica’s two weeks earlier.
“Some of the villagers told the police that I was responsible for that robbery, but I had nothing to do with it. I am often wrongfully arrested for crimes that occur in the neighbourhood and I cannot take it anymore,” he says,
