Planning Ministry to brief media on Investment Summit today

Maseru – The Ministry of Development Planning will today at 2pm brief the media about the job and investment summit to be held later this month.
The press briefing will be today in the ministry’s boardroom at 2pm.
The upcoming summit is a culmination of the Economic Labs which took place in Maseru from February 4th to April 11th, an initiative by the government to transform the economy.
The labs were initiated to realise the objectives set in the national strategic development plan (NSDP) II, which is to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth and generate private sector-led job creation. The 10-week labs, involving stakeholders from both the public and private sector, focused on delivering these through Lesotho’s four key economic sectors: Agriculture, Manufacturing, Technology and Innovation, and Tourism and Creative Industries.
