Two Thaba Tseka men up for murder

Maseru – Two men, Rets’ilisitsoe Motsieho (26) and Mosiuoa Motsamai (27), from Mants’onyane Ha Ramotsieloa in Thaba-Tseka appeared before the magistrate court at Thaba-Tseka on 19 August charged with murder.
Police spokesperson Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli said on 15 August a dead man’s body was found in the fields at Mants’onyane village with multiple wounds, a broken jaw and a slit throat. The two murder suspects will reappear before the magistrate court on Friday this week.
Meanwhile, police also reported this week that Mothepu Mokhothu (25) from Khubetsoana in Maseru also appeared before the Magistrates’ court on 19 accused of theft and is currently awaiting trial in police custody where he is set to reappear before the magistrate court on Friday this week. A 47-year-old woman from Masowe had her car a Nissan Qashqai and money stolen allegedly by Mokhothu. The car was later found abandoned.
