Son kills mama’s sweetheart

QUTHING – A 25-year old Khatile Mabolotsane from Matsela-habeli, Tsatsane appeared before the Quthing Magistrate Court for allegedly killing his mother’s 60-year old sweetheart from Ha Mathabela, in the Qomomong area.
It is alleged that on the night of September 18, at around 2300hrs, the deceased was having a great time with his partner (Khatile’s mother) when the young man barged in and started hitting the man with a fighting stick (molamu) fatally wounding him.

Deputy police spokesperson Sergeant ’Mareabetsoe Mofoka indicated that it is alleged the young man was not satisfied with his mothers affair.

He remains in custody for his trial set for October 1.
