BEREA – A 47-year-old lady ‘Mabaholo Lesenyeho from Lecop Khubetsoana appeared before the magistrate court accused of stealing cash estimated at more than one million maloti from three hotels namely; Mount Maluti, Blue Mountain Inn (BMI) and Mountain View where she was the financial controller for the hotel chain, police report.
Lesenyeho was asked to pay a bail of M10 000 and M100 000 surety of either movable or immovable properties but she failed to pay and is still in custody while waiting to re-appear in court on October 29.

She shared the rest of the airtime with several people who would then convert it to M-pesa so that it would easily be withdrawn as cash. This fraud went on from 2015 until August 2019.
