Deputy Principal slain

MASERU – A 38-year-old man of Ha Monyake, Kholokoe, in the Mafeteng district is in detention to appear in court for the murder of his 33-years-old friend of the same place. The deceased, according to the police, was a deputy school principal in the area.

Police reports indicate that the two has been spotted together at a village bar on Friday 28 and left together; on Saturday morning the deceased was found in a pool of blood in the fields stabbed with a knife – he had sustained severe wounds with his throat cut. On March 1 the suspect handed himself to the Matelile police confessing the crime.
