Mamoth Insurance invests in youth project

MASERU – King Letsie III on Friday witnessed the handing over of a M15 000 cheque from Mamoth Insurance to youth business initiative, Limomonyane Products, in commemoration of his birthday. Mamoth is a local company invested in the areas of medical employee benefits and funeral services in Southern Africa and headquartered in Lesotho; it provides services in Lesotho and most Southern African countries including South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Limomonyane Products produces processed fruit products such as jam and dried fruits, and is based in the Mafeteng district. The company owns orchards and has to date planted about 1 fruit 000 tress . Welcoming the gesture King Letsie said: “I am very much impressed with tangible projects taken up by the youth lately…such as what the young people, through Limomonyane, have done.
It is high time the youth engage in projects which will help them generate income to support their way of living, and i thank Mamoth Insurance for believing in this project,.” “As Mamoth, we believe in the youth of this country, the reason we did hesitate to help them in this project. We decided to support this project through His Majesty’s office because he is the regional Nutrition Ambassador…Lesotho’s Ambassador.
