False alarm about Pioneer Mall

Maseru – Pioneer Mall remains open despite rumour doing the rounds on social media that the mall has been closed with immediate effect after several people who work there had displayed flu-like symptoms.

Public Eye visited the mall this morning and it was business as usual, with shoppers going about their business.

Tiisetso Lesaoana who works at one of the stores in the mall said he was surprised by the unfounded falsehoods spreading on social media as he is at work as usual and everything is normal at the mall.
