Man, 33, kills 58-year-old lover

QUTHING- Love is becoming more dangerous these days because some men are continuously killing their love partners when they suspect them of cheating. A 33-year-old man who lives in Ha Sekhobe is in police custody suspected of killing a 58-year-old woman who lives in the same village.

Senior Superintendent Mpeti Mopeli said the suspect, Ts’itiso ‘Matli, had a love affair with the woman. On 2 January, 2021 between 2am and 3am the suspect allegedly fatally assaulted the victim, accusing her of dating other men.

The suspect, who appeared before the Quthing Magistrate Court on 6 January, will soon appear before court again on 20 January for sentencing.
