Rape suspect in court

Thaba-Tseka – Mohloua Kholoane, 36, of Sekiring in Thaba-Tseka this week appeared before the magistrate’s court in Thaba-Tseka accused of raping a 20-year-old woman from Thoteng in the same district.

Police spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Mpeti Mopeli, said the suspect went to the victim’s place purportedly to buy alcohol but, instead, he attacked the victim, dragged her towards a nearby soccer field and raped her before accompanying her back home.

Kholoane was granted M400.00 bail and he will reappear in court on April 21, 2021.
