Uncle sexually violates niece

Maseru – A 42-year-old Berea man is in police custody after he failed to pay M1 500 bail and a surety deposit of M10 000 in a case of sexual assault against his 16-year-old niece.
Police said the man went to his sister’s house as usual to check on the kids since their mother, who works in South Africa, is absent.
He then proceeded to sexually violate his niece in the presence of her younger sister.
The offender was set to reappear in court yesterday.
