World marks Social Media Day

Maseru- June 30 marks World Social Media Day to appreciate the primary role technology has brought to daily life and to highlight how social media has become the key communication tool connecting people across the world in seconds with just a few clicks.
The first Social Media Day was celebrated in 2010 to recognise the impact of social media. Due to the apps, the world is progressing at a very fast rate, in the process creating employment for everyone with more social media influencers, brand promotions and of course global communication.
Several social media platforms such Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram to mention few, are being used by people of all age groups to connect with the world, to promote businesses and expand all kinds of businesses or to socialise.
