Man alleged shoots his lover dead

MASERU – A 34-year-old traffic officer from Ha-Abia, is in police custody for the alleged murder of a 35-year-old woman from Ha ‘Mathata, Maputsoe.

According to Senior Inspector Mpiti Mopeli, the accused shot the deceased after an argument in the LNDC parking lot and handed himself to the police after the tragic incident. The two are said to have been in a romantic relationship. Police recovered a 7.65 mm shell.
