Unknown assailants murder granny

NTEBOHELENG SEKHUKHUNI

MASERU – A 71-year-old woman was murdered at her home at Ha-Mankana village by unknown assailants on July 8.

According to Senior Inspector Mpiti Mopeli, the old woman’s dead body was found with a thin blanket around her neck which was evidently used to strangle her. An empty wallet was found near the body and it is suspected the killer or killers could have robbed her of some money.

Police are asking members of the public to assist with any information on this matter.
