Fokothi confirms student death at Thetsane police station

MASERU – Management of Lerotholi Polytechnic, popularly known as Fokothi, has announced receipt of a police report on the death of the school’s pupil at the Ha Thetsane Police Station on July 20.

The announcement made on Wednesday says the unexpected death of this student occurred after he was catered to spend the night at the station on the evening of July 19.

The cause of this death is still unknown; however, the Lerotholi Polytechnic management has been informed that the investigations about the death of the particular student are already in progress.

This incident happens while the institution is formally closed for 2021/2022 academic year.

The school has conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, classmates, lectures and everyone who has been affected by this untimely death.
